SEEC's consulting process for college placement involves three phases:
I. Initial Meeting: Objectives A student and his/her parents are interviewed to understand their objectives and goals in the college search. -General information is given. -There are no charges for this phase.
II. Research: Full payment due at this time, unless otherwise contracted. After this initial discussion, further assessment/information of student is gathered, including the Campbell Interest and Skills Survey. Criteria are agreed upon to direct SEEC's college research. -This results in a proposal of colleges that meet the needs of the student and the family's objectives, including specific areas of study -Special programs: Honors, LD Programs, Pre-med, Pre-Law. -Admissibility probability is determined. -Discussion and dialogue continue until objectives are met. -Sports considerations
III. Family Meetings: Final College List Weighing the outcome: final selection IV. Application and Admission: Details include but are not limited to: -Requesting admission materials be sent to student. -Helping family/student evaluate information. -Application assistance includes essay writing. -Admission appointments and on-campus visits arranged.
