Counseling and advising high school students and undergraduates became the cornerstone of my current work with students and their families who are interested in personalizing their college search and application process, both of which have become more complex and demanding.

My students’ needs range from those who are undecided to those who have already caught the flame of the global torch (often after a GAP year) or are specifically focused. 

In this complex and sometimes protracted process, there are many steps to be taken to find and apply to colleges, which would be good matches for you. As a college counselor, I offer each student unlimited one-on-one advising time; we will explore appropriate colleges, learn about their distinctiveness and their culture, complete the actual applications and prepare for subsequent interviews.  Students tell me it’s vital to know they are on top of the process and their parents find they can relax a bit too.

In addition, several years ago, the British Council invited me to tour UK universities so that I could advise students who would like a foreign experience with appropriate English or Scottish schools.
